Why are we different?

1. What is ACE EdVenture?
We’re a one-stop private tutoring centre, providing a fully integrated educational solution for students from Standard 1 to Form 5. For more information about us, please refer to ‘About Us’.

2. How did ACE EdVenture begin?
For more information on how we began, please refer to ‘About Us’.

3. How long have we been around?
Our programme first started in 1995. For more information, please refer to ‘About Us’.

4. How is our learning centre different from others?
The entire teaching system is wholly developed by us. Our main ingredient is making the learning process a fun experience. Every classroom is filled with enjoyable and exciting activities that help your child learn better.

Our materials are fully imported from US, Canada, UK, Australia and Singapore (for Maths). These materials provide a wider coverage on the various subjects and are most current and relevant to today’s society.

Besides, our approach towards teaching is proven effective since we’ve started in 1995. Students not only learn better through our approach but they have fun at the same time.

5. How are students tested in the centre?
Assessments are informal in our programme and are not limited to written assessments only.

For our Speech & Drama and Creative Writing, and Maths & Science programmes, there won’t be any formal written test. They are constantly assessed in class for every new skill taught. And our assessments are made fun, the way your child likes it.

6. Is it okay if there are no formal exams in ACE EdVenture?
Yes. The whole idea of examination is to assess if your child understands and is able to apply the new knowledge and skills taught to them. And there are many ways to assess a student’s progress. Our form of assessment is made fun so that your child will not dread going through it and still work hard in getting good grades.

7. Why do parents send their child to ACE EdVenture?
Parents send their child to our programme because they are looking for an alternative approach to education.

8. Are your teachers qualified and trained?
Our teachers must undergo training by ACE EdVenture before they teach our programmes. Through this, we are able to control the teaching quality and ensure that the same approach and method is used in teaching our programme.

9. Does the government certify ACE EdVenture? Are you accredited?
Speech & Drama and Creative Writing is a training programme designed to help your child to write and speak better. Our training materials are imported from the U.S, U.K, Canada and Australia. Though most of these materials are used in schools in English speaking countries, there is no need for government certification.

10. What is an interactive white board?
IWB bring a whole new level of interactivity to the classroom and also is a large interactive display that connects to a computer and projector. A projector projects the computer's desktop onto the board's surface, where users control the computer using a pen, finger or other device.

11. How do you charge? Per semester/Per annum?
Fees are collected by semester (approximately 10 classes per semester) for our speech & drama and creative writing, and maths & science programme.

For more information on the fees, please refer to Courses & Fees.

12. How can I enrol my child in ACE EdVenture?
To enrol into our Speech & Drama and Creative Writing, and Maths & Science programmes, just call us and we will provide the best suited day and time for your child’s class. Confirmation can be done over the phone. And there’s no need for any registration or booking fee.

13. What if my child is still in Primary level? Can he/she still enrol?
You can enrol your child to our Speech & Drama and Creative Writing programme as young as Primary 1.

While for the Maths and Science programme, students can join us from Primary 4 onwards.
